Spielplatz was founded in 1929 by Charles Macaskie and his wife Dorothy, Spielplatz (German for playground) is the longest-operating naturist resort in the United Kingdom. Consisting of 10 acres of peaceful woodland and lawns, Spielplatz is situated in the quiet village of Bricket Wood, St Albans, Hertfordshire.

Spielplatz is a modern facility combined with the quaint old charm of a true British Naturist home from home. Created as a family oriented club for visitors, guests and members alike, it makes for a great retreat at weekends, longer breaks, lunchtime visits or just a relaxing few hours after work.
